Thankful, My Dad, & Showcase

THANKFUL for lifting heavy with a different instructor to challenge & change my routine; for the privilege of voting; for the perfect new Zumba choreo; for bubble tea; and for God’s peace about some crazy stressful mess. So proud of my youth cheer program: we decided to have a showcase (like a dance recital for cheer) where every squad would be able to show off for their friends, family, & fellow cheer squads. It was last Friday night, and it was fantastic!

We started with the 2017 Hello Cheer all together, and then each squad took the spotlight to do their favorite cheer & halftime dance for everyone. The space was too small, but the spirit was STELLAR! (Yes, I’m still VP of Cheer; but no, I’m not also coaching my own squad for the first time in 8 YEARS! Annelise is all competition, but I still enjoy working with all these girls & coaches, so I’m still in.)

This, however, was just the tip of the cheer iceberg... Stay tuned for two *GINORMOUS* posts... :-O
