June Joys

This first week of June marked Will’s Senior & final time at church Kamp - his favorite experience of his youth… ❤️ I’m so thankful Annelise got to be there for the week, too - even with limited mobility (ankle), not really getting to participate like Will in the team comps - and I was honored that I got to attend their Candlelight Walk ceremony on the last night, (only Senior parents allowed.) It was a blessing to ride up there (2 hrs away) with our precious friend Marcee, whose son Bryce also went, and to get to finally see the special place that has meant so much to Will over the last five years.

The other biggest family adventure of our June was flying up to see JB’s parents & his brother, Dave, for the first time in a few years! (Thanks, Covid. :-P) We enjoyed so much good food & family conversation - not many pics, because we were too busy talking, but that should be the hallmark of quality time, right? :-)

A bonus blessing beyond words: face-to-face with one of the most precious BFFs of my life for the 1st time in 10 YEARS; and as always with the truest connections, it felt like no time had passed…except for how our kids have grown! It’s AMAZING how we haven’t lived in the same place in over 11 years, and yet it still feels like our kids are two sets of TWINS! (& thanks to her for all the glorious pics!!! ❤️)

Stay tuned for ANKLE SURGERY! Surgery?!?! Yep, surgery… (& a hair chop! :-O)
